Postpartum Doula
As your Postpartum Doula, I will draw on my knowledge and experience to provide you and your partner with physical, emotional and informational support. I am independent and self-employed and work for you. I will do my best to help make this transition into parenthood a little easier and less stressful by taking a bit of the load off the pressures in your “new” daily family life.
What is included?
- One free consultation to discuss your needs, proposed schedule and to ensure compatibility.
- Breastfeeding and/or bottle feeding support.
- Help with the emotional and physical recovery after birth.
- Assistance with newborn care such as diapering, bathing, feeding and comforting.
- Light meal preparation.
- Siblings care on the premises.
- Simple housework which may include laundry, vacuuming and dishes.
- Referrals to local resources and professionals such as, but not limited to, parenting classes, pediatricians and lactation support.
This service starts at
$35/$40 per hour for daytime visits between 8:00am-4:00pm
$40/$45 per hour for visits between 10:00pm-6:00am
